Booking & Cancellation Policy

1. Payment

To secure your booking, full payment is required at the time of booking through our online booking system.

Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been successfully received. We are unable to accept cash payments on arrival.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, so we've kept our cancellation policy simple and fair.

More than 7 days before arrival

You'll receive a full refund of your booking.

Between 7 days and 48 hours before arrival

You'll have the choice of:

A 50% refund, or
A free reschedule to another available date, subject to availability.

Less than 48 hours before arrival

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your arrival, along with no-shows, are non-refundable.

3. Booking Amendments

If you need to amend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

We'll always do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.

4. Weather & Site Safety

Carneddau Base Camp is located on the edge of the Carneddau Mountains, where weather conditions can change quickly.

If severe weather, such as Met Office Amber or Red weather warnings for high winds, flooding or other hazardous conditions, makes the site or access track unsafe, we may need to cancel your booking.

If this happens, you'll be offered either:

A full refund, or
A voucher to rebook for a future date.

The safety of our guests and the surrounding environment will always be our priority.

5. If We Need to Cancel

In the unlikely event that Carneddau Base Camp needs to cancel your booking for reasons outside your control, including site closures or unforeseen operational circumstances, you'll receive either:

A full refund, or
The option to transfer your booking to another available date.

6. Early Departures

If you choose to leave before the end of your booked stay, we're unable to offer refunds for any unused nights.

7. Refund Processing

Where applicable, refunds will be returned using the original payment method.

Please allow a few working days for your bank or payment provider to process the transaction.
